About Us

Anne Trahan has practiced photography since 1969. She graduated with top honors from Rhode Island School of Professional Photography and Winona School of Professional Photography. To keep her skills up to date, she participates in workshops, competitions and seminars — most notably a workshop with famous photographer Ansel Adams, during which he singled her out as “someone with a good eye.” Anne has also taught workshops for the Professional Photographers of Michigan at convention and is a past recipient of the ATHENA Award, which recognizes accomplishments of women who have attained professional excellence in business.

After working for several photographers, Anne opened Logmark Photography in 1976. The current Anne E. Trahan Photography Studio is in the Phoenix Building in downtown Bay City, though we can take photos for our clients anywhere. We spend most of our time in the Great Lakes Bay Region, but we also photograph many families in their vacation homes in northern Michigan.

As a mother of three, Anne has learned the advantages of patience and sensitivity, which prove valuable when photographing small children. She prides herself in getting the job done quickly, with creative poses and warm, personal service. The result is an enjoyable experience and a beautiful, memorable portrait.
